Clogged Toilet in Canoga Park
On June 5, 2026, our team responded to a clogged toilet service call in Canoga Park. Upon arrival, we assessed the plumbing system and identified the source of the blockage, then proceeded with clearing the line to restore proper drainage.
During the service, we accessed the drain system through the ceiling penetration, where a corrugated flexible drain hose (black ribbed construction) runs vertically through the structural opening. A tan PVC escutcheon ring was installed around the hose penetration to seal the gap between the hose and the drywall ceiling material. The wooden subfloor and joist structure were visible in the work area, confirming the routing of the vent stack or drain line.
Our technician cleared the clog and verified that water flow had been restored to normal function. The drain hose itself showed no visible kinks or damage during inspection. We confirmed the escutcheon was properly seated to prevent air leaks and pest entry at the ceiling penetration.
The toilet is now operating as intended. The rough drywall edges around the penetration remain unfinished; if you would like us to schedule finishing work such as trim installation or caulking around the escutcheon perimeter, please contact us to arrange that service. All drainage components are secure and functioning correctly.
