Seismic strapping — two straps, upper and lower third of the tank — is required on every installation, and it’s a common correction item on unpermitted swaps. And the City of Chula Vista requires a permit for water heater replacement, pulled online and inspected; we handle both as part of the job, which is what makes the installation clean at resale.
