Clogged Toilet in West Hollywood
On June 4, 2026, our team responded to a clogged toilet service call in West Hollywood. Upon arrival, we identified a blockage in the floor drain system connected to the main PVC drain piping. The ceramic tile flooring around the drain area showed clear signs of water backup and debris accumulation in the grout lines, confirming active drainage issues.
We deployed a plumbing snake with an orange-handled auger to break through and extract the obstruction. The work revealed significant buildup—dark sediment, hair, and soap residue—that had accumulated within the drain line. As we worked the snake through the system, debris was flushed and extracted onto the surrounding tile surface, a normal part of the clearing process.
Once the clog was cleared, we performed a thorough flush to verify proper drainage flow through the PVC piping. The floor drain’s strainer grate and cleanout access point were inspected and confirmed to be functioning correctly. We cleaned up the work area, removing residual debris and water from the tiles.
The drain is now clear and flowing properly. The toilet and connected plumbing are back to normal operation. We recommend routine maintenance—avoiding flushing non-flushable items and using drain screens—to prevent future blockages in this line.
