Water Heater in Los Angeles
Our technician inspected the rooftop water heater system and its control infrastructure in Los Angeles on May 27, 2026. The setup includes a Raypak On-Board Diagnostic Center control panel—the nerve center for the water heater operation. The panel houses an LCD display with navigation controls, circuit board assemblies, power supply and transformer components, relay modules, and color-coded wiring harnesses (red, black, and yellow conductors). A manual high-limit switch with a 0–90 range setting was also present on the assembly.
The water heater tank sits mounted above the diagnostic panel on the rooftop structure. The technician performed a full system evaluation using the diagnostic interface. The control panel’s status display confirmed “System Normal” operation, and a test cycle was run to verify all components were responding correctly. The organized internal wiring and intact display screens indicated no immediate failures.
Condition assessment revealed typical weathering appropriate for outdoor rooftop installation. No visible corrosion, component degradation, or wiring issues were detected. The relay modules and control circuitry were functioning as designed. The system’s ability to display diagnostic information and execute test protocols confirmed the Raypak center was operating within normal parameters.
The water heater system is running reliably. All monitored functions checked out during the service visit. The technician confirmed the equipment is ready for continued operation.
