Pipe Leak in Glendale

On May 21, 2026, our team addressed a pipe leak affecting the drainage system in a Glendale parking structure. Upon inspection, we identified the source of the leak and determined that a section of the horizontal drain line required replacement to restore proper function.

The solution involved installing a complete new drainage assembly using professional-grade materials. We installed approximately 3–4 inch diameter black PVC/ABS drain pipe, routed horizontally through the ceiling structure with proper slope orientation to ensure gravity-fed drainage. The new pipe was secured at multiple points using stainless steel band clamps and metal strapping brackets, following code standards for support distribution. An elbow fitting with vertical branch connection was incorporated into the system, with a flexible black drain hose connector installed at the junction to allow for minor movement and vibration isolation.

The entire run was suspended from the structural steel beam and wooden blocking already in place, creating a clean, organized routing system appropriate for the commercial parking structure environment. All fastening points were secured to prevent sagging or stress on the drainage line.

Upon completion, the new installation showed no visible leaks or damage. All connections were tight, clamp placement was verified at appropriate intervals, and the system was confirmed operational. The work demonstrates standard commercial drainage practices with proper support infrastructure. The customer’s drainage system is now restored and functioning as designed.
