Clogged Toilet in Los Angeles
Our team arrived at the Los Angeles property on June 27, 2026, to address a clogged toilet. Inspection revealed a standard two-piece white porcelain toilet assembly mounted on a floor-mounted closet flange with visible bolts. The ceramic trap and waste line showed significant sediment and debris accumulation, along with mineral deposits and discoloration on the interior bowl surfaces—clear indicators of a substantial blockage.
To clear the obstruction, the technician deployed a plumbing auger with a wooden handle and red ferrule, inserting it directly into the trap to mechanically break apart and extract the trapped material. The active drain cleaning operation dislodged considerable debris and sediment, which accumulated visibly in the bowl during the clearing process. A black plastic waste bucket was used to collect extracted material, with debris properly bagged for removal.
The toilet structure remained intact throughout the service with no visible cracks or damage to the porcelain bowl or tank. Once the auger work was complete, the trap and waste line were cleared of obstructions, restoring proper drainage function. The fixture was left in working condition, ready for normal use.
This straightforward drain cleaning addressed the blockage without requiring fixture replacement or additional repairs to the supply lines or mounting hardware.
