Clogged Drain in Santa Monica

On June 17, we responded to a clogged drain service call in Santa Monica. Upon arrival, the technician inspected the plumbing infrastructure serving a Bosch dishwasher (Model SHE3AR72UC/22). The system featured a gray braided metal inlet water supply line connected to a wall-mounted shutoff valve, along with a yellow corrugated plastic drain line routed along the baseboard to a white plastic P-trap assembly.

The drain line showed proper slope for gravity drainage, and all hose connections were secured with appropriate clamps. The technician performed a thorough diagnostic of the drainage path, identifying the blockage location and determining the best approach for clearing the line. Using specialized equipment, the clog was successfully removed, restoring full flow capacity to the system.

After clearing the obstruction, the technician verified that water drained freely through the P-trap and confirmed all connections remained tight and secure. The inlet shutoff valve was tested and found operational. No leaks or damage were present on any visible components, including the metal supply line and plastic drain assembly.

The dishwasher’s plumbing system is now functioning normally. We recommend scheduling periodic drain cleaning maintenance to prevent future buildup. If you notice slow drainage or water backing up in the future, contact us promptly to avoid more serious blockages.
