On June 12, a garbage disposal unit was installed under the kitchen sink in West Hollywood. The new disposal—a black cylindrical unit with a clean, well-maintained appearance—was mounted securely using proper flange and mounting ring hardware at the ceiling penetration point.

The installation included a PVC discharge line routed with appropriate slope and connected via standard elbow fittings. A copper drain line on the right side of the assembly was also present, showing oxidation consistent with age. Fresh white PTFE thread seal tape was applied to connections, indicating recent work and proper sealing technique.

Inspection of the surrounding area revealed water staining and discoloration on the ceiling around the mounting point. This damage predates the current installation and suggests previous moisture exposure in the space. The new disposal unit itself is in good condition and properly secured.

The work completed represents a straightforward garbage disposal installation in West Hollywood with attention to proper mounting, drainage slope, and connection sealing.
