Clogged Toilet in Los Angeles

On May 28, 2026, our team responded to a clogged toilet service call in Los Angeles. Upon arrival, we found a standard two-piece toilet assembly with dual flush mechanism and white seat and lid. The ceramic bowl showed visible mineral staining and rust deposits along the waterline and interior surfaces—typical of hard water buildup or age-related discoloration. The tank-to-bowl connection bolts were accessible, and the wax ring at the bowl base appeared original.

We began by assessing the clog’s severity and location. The plunger and toilet brush nearby indicated the customer had already attempted basic clearing. Our technician proceeded with professional clearing techniques to break up and dislodge the blockage.

The work included inspecting the tank-to-bowl seal and verifying proper water flow and drainage function. Photo documentation shows the bowl condition before and after our service, with the final image showing a clean, dry bowl and restored drainage. The wax ring was checked for integrity during the process.

Upon completion, the toilet was tested to confirm the clog was fully cleared and both flush cycles operated normally. The ceramic surfaces, while still bearing mineral stains from hard water exposure, were left intact and functional. We advised the customer on routine maintenance practices and discussed options for addressing mineral buildup if desired in the future.

The toilet is now in full working order with proper drainage restored.
