Emergency Call in Los Angeles
On May 23, 2026, our team responded to an emergency heating system service call in Los Angeles. The technician arrived to inspect a gas-fired FS-251 model heating appliance with its associated control systems and gas inlet connections.
Diagnostic testing was the focus of this visit. The technician used a Southwire multimeter to perform electrical diagnostics on the pilot duty gas valve assembly and its control circuit. The black electronic ignition control module, equipped with red and black lead wires, was tested to verify proper voltage delivery and continuity. The safety and ignition control panel—featuring indicator lights for Power, Call for Heat, Stage 1, Stage 2, Flow, and Blower 1—was examined as part of the overall system assessment.
The equipment showed age-appropriate wear, including oxidized brass fittings typical of systems in service. The technician verified the system’s operating parameters against the manufacturer’s specifications, which indicate a maximum fluid temperature of 160°F and a pressure rating of 160 PSI. The ON/STANDBY switch and control logic were confirmed functional.
The system was found to be operational following the diagnostic evaluation. All testing confirmed that the heating appliance and its control systems were performing within design parameters. The customer was advised of the system’s condition and operating specifications. For future heating concerns or emergency plumbing services in Los Angeles, our team remains available around the clock.
