Service Call in Santa Monica

On May 22, our team completed a plumbing rough-in service call in Santa Monica, focusing on supply line installation and valve setup for an appliance connection.

The work involved installing dual shut-off valves with red and blue handles to control hot and cold water supply lines independently. PVC supply lines (1/2″ or 3/4″) were routed and connected to a wall-mounted fixture rough-in box, with copper supply lines visible within the wall cavity. Yellow corrugated conduit was also installed as part of the supply routing system. White PVC drain and vent piping was positioned to support the fixture installation.

Significant drywall and plaster damage was present around both openings, indicating active rough-in work. The wall cavities showed exposed framing and construction debris. Mineral deposits and sediment were visible on the valve handles, consistent with standard water system conditions. All connections were completed with proper PVC elbow fittings and connectors in place.

The rough-in phase is now complete and ready for the next stage. The shut-off valves are properly labeled and functional, supply lines are secured and connected, and drain/vent piping is positioned correctly. The installation provides isolated water control for the appliance connection and establishes the foundation for fixture installation or wall closure. No additional work was documented on this service call.
